At one point, crime show consultants were all the rage–and they are present in plenty of TV shows even today! If you are a fan of these types of shows like I am, you do know that these consultants are possibly the most entertaining people to watch but the most horrible people to actually work with!
Let’s say you’re a detective on one of these shows or in real life. Which consultant would you be partnered up with? Take the quiz below to find out!
Pick an American era to grow up in.
What non-physical attribute do you like most in your romantic partner?
What physical attribute, then?
Which of the following traits is LEAST of a deal breaker for you?
Ideally, what do you want to do on your birthday?
Which quirky crime show consultant would you be paired up with as a detective?
You got Satan himself! If you were a detective, you would be paired up with none other than Lucifer from the show that is, of course, named after himself. He can be a bit oblivious about the real world with a lot of daddy issues, but you’ll manage to tame his playboy, self-centered, hard-party-life attitude when it comes to solving crime!
You got Patrick Jane from The Mentalist! He used to be a psychic, but has since dropped the facade. Still, he is every bit as cunning and manipulative as the fraud he used to be. He can be a bit hard to read, but don’t be fooled by his disarming smile and boyish charms! You got to be kept on your toes with this clever guy. Also because he does have a dark side to watch out for...
You got Shawn (and that means Gus, as well, of course) from Psych! He is a sweet partner, but he’s also a bit of a loose cannon, doing his own thing because of his mischievous, childlike personality. You need a lot of patience for his immature antics, but he sure does make life more fun!
You got Monk from, well, Monk! He’s going to be a bit of a pain because of his awkward mannerisms and extreme OCD, but he has a childlike charm that draws you in and makes you want to protect him. Plus, he is a genius, so he will keep you in awe of his talents when, you know, he’s not touching every lamp post on the street.
You got Sherlock! Let’s go with Sherlock from BBC’s Sherlock, just because he’s more of a character than Elementary’s version, who is actually quite a swell guy. Sadly, this means you will have to deal with the irritating and sociopathic prick of a consultant. He’s rude and can be quite heartless, but hey, he gets the job done!
You got Castle from Castle! He’s a creative guy with great vision and imagination, so he will keep you within the fascinating world of his mind. His charm can be a bit much and he does not always seem to be a complete adult, more keen on flirting than being serious, but he is a nice guy. Honestly, you could have it much worse...
